Dr. Michael P. Gaspar, MD, MBA
Until you meet a patient with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS), it is just an interesting disease without a face. For me, that changed when a close family friend was finally diagnosed with EDS after years of inadequate care, incorrect diagnoses, and a generally disheartening outlook. I joined EDSRF because I firmly believe in the foundation’s mission of furthering our knowledge of this devastating disease, in hopes of improving care for this generation of patients, and those to come in the future.
